Symptoms can be treated effectively with proper treatment that combines medication and non-medication methods. Most symptoms can be relieved to make them manageable. If a symptom cannot be sufficiently relieved despite good symptom management, it’s possible to sedate the patient at the end of life (palliative sedation) to ease their symptoms.
Can all my symptoms be removed completely?
These days, there are many effective methods of symptom relief available to ensure a good quality of life for patients. However, it may be difficult to remove all symptoms.
