Article tags as part of the Health Village knowledge base

The content of the Health Village knowledge base is identified using unique article tags. Article tags provide a way of linking knowledge base content to various digital services in a controlled and sustainable manner, without the need to copy or maintain the content in multiple locations.

An article tag is a unique tag assigned to every piece of content in the Health Village knowledge base, such as an article, a guide or an information page.

Using the tag,

  • the same content can be displayed in various digital services

  • the content can be tailored to a specific service package

  • we can ensure that the right content appears in the right place

From the user’s perspective, the article tag is not visible in the final digital service. The tag runs in the background and ensures that the content is correctly linked and easy to manage.

Once the agreement on the use of the Health Village knowledge base has been concluded, the implementation of the interface can proceed as follows:

1. Enable the display of article tags

When the tag tool is enabled, a cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie tells the system that you want to see article tags on the Health Village content pages.

The cookie is only enabled once per device and browser.

2. Go to the Health Village content pages

When the tool is enabled, article tags are automatically displayed on all Health Village content pages.

The tag is clearly marked as part of the content page. The view will remain unchanged for regular users.

3. Use the tag when planning your content

Using the article tag, you can

  • identify a specific article or piece of content unambiguously

  • discuss the exact same content with the developers or the project team

  • ensure that the right content is linked to the right digital service

You do not need to do anything technical yourself. All you need to do is identify the article tag and pass it on.

4. Hide article tags, if necessary

If you no longer need the article tags to be displayed, you can turn this feature off. The cookie will then be deleted, and the pages will return to their normal view.
