About HealthVillagePRO

HealthVillagePRO provides information, support and tools for social welfare and health care professionals for clinical work and the promotion of digital practices and operational changes. HealthVillagePRO is developed in collaboration with Finnish university hospitals. The content is produced by social welfare and health care experts.

HealthVillagePRO is a service portal for social welfare and health care professionals. A service portal is a service that contains self-produced content and services and can be used to direct users to content and services from other service providers.

To use HealthVillagePRO, you must be logged in as a social welfare and health care professional.

Please note that the service is only available in Finnish!

NB: HealthVillagePRO is one of the three main products of the HealthVillage.fi service package. The other products are the Health Village hubs and the My Path service. See the descriptions of the Health Village hubs and the My Path service in the services’ own information pages.

The HealthVillagePRO service complements the skills of professionals and encourages them to use new approaches in their work.

The service strengthens professionals’ e-service skills, for example, by offering online courses on digital transformation. It also offers a comprehensive range of information resources, including clinical guides, virtual centres and an specialist search service. Using common sources of information harmonises working practices, competencies and approaches.

When using the service, it is important to note that

  • the service is not comparable to a social welfare or health information system: the service cannot be used to store or manage personal data or documents relating to clients or patients.

  • each piece of content has an owner or other party who is responsible for updating and developing the content and the national cooperation concerning the content. The service is not responsible for the timeliness of the content.

  • all content on the service is freely available for use. If a unit wishes to use a piece of content, it must ensure that the content suits the needs of the unit and the approach introduced by the content has been accepted as a general way of working in the unit.
