The Poison Information Centre phone service is open every day, around the clock. The Poison Information Centre answers questions concerning the prevention and treatment of acute poisonings.
The Centre serves the whole of Finland by telephone and provides guidance to the public and health care professionals.
The Poison Information Centre does not treat patients or analyse poisons. We are also unable to give general guidance in pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs or on the treatment of illnesses, allergies or animal poisoning.
