The emergency departments of the Turku region are concentrated in the joint emergency service unit located in the Tyks T-Hospital. The Joint Emergency Services of the Turku Region provide dental emergency services. Dental emergency services are available to the residents of all municipalities within the South-western hospital district on weekday evenings and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and they are intended for patients who need urgent treatment of acute conditions of the teeth and mouth.

The Joint Emergency Services of the Turku Region provide emergency services for mental illness and addiction problems. Patients arrive at our unit usually through the joint emergency services. This unit serves patients with sudden mental health crises, other mentally very burdensome situations or crises related to drug addiction.
