Always remember to check that any new medicines you start go well with your HIV-medication, for instance commonly used medicines for heartburn, and iron or calcium tablets may destroy the effect of some HIV-medicines. On the other hand, HIV-medicines may weaken or sometimes even dangerously increase the effect of some other medicines.
