The purpose of processing personal data

What information do we process?

We process your personal data to create a personal profile for you to use the services. The information you enter in the self-care programmes varies depending on the purpose of the self-care programme. For example, the self-care programme for weight management collects information about your eating habits and the dimensions of your body. The information you enter in your self-care programmes is optional.

We also process your personal data to investigate possible security incidents, for example by collecting data from telecommunications systems and information systems.

The processing of personal data is based on your consent, agreement and existing legislation.

Digital care pathways

A client using Health Village services on a referral is in a patient care relationship, and healthcare-related legislation on the processing of personal data is applied. The purpose of the processing is to enable you to use electronic services to support your health care. For more information about how your personal data is processed, please contact your healthcare provider. Each healthcare unit has its own patient record description and data protection policy to safeguard your data.

The processing of personal data is based on your consent and a statutory obligation.
